This article will guide you through the configuration of a NetComm Modem/Router for your Superloop Internet Connection
- NetComm modem/routers have two different firmware models, which can refer to a particular setting as something else, it will be detailed below
- FttP/HFC/FttC connections will have an NBN Connection Box, so do not require a modem/router. Modem/routers are still compatible, but will require extra configuration steps
- This guide is a generic guide for NetComm devices, some settings may vary, depending on model
NetComm Modem/Routers for FttP/HFC/FttC
- Ensure the modem/router is turned on and plugged in
- Get a device you can connect to the modem/router with, either by Wi-Fi or ethernet
- Open a web browser on that device and enter 192.168.20.1
- Select either the Setup Wizard or the Basic Setup (depending on firmware)
- Select Etherent WAN for the WAN Access Type or Internet Service (depending on firmware)
- Select IPoE or Dyamic IP for the Connection Type (depending on firmware)
- All the settings for the internet connection itself are now set, but continue wit the rest of the setup to finalise, including naming your Wi-Fi networks
- Your modem/router should now be setup
NetComm Modem/Routers for FttN/FttB
- Ensure the modem/router is turned on and plugged in
- Get a device you can connect to the modem/router with, either by Wi-Fi or ethernet
- Open a web browser on that device and enter 192.168.20.1
- Select either the Setup Wizard or the Basic Setup (depending on firmware)
- Select VDSL for the WAN Access Type or Internet Service (depending on firmware)
- Select IPoE or Dyamic IP for the Connection Type (depending on firmware)
- All the settings for the internet connection itself are now set, but continue wit the rest of the setup to finalise, including naming your Wi-Fi networks
- Your modem/router should now be setup
